CLOSING OF REGISTRATION FOR THE SEPTEMBER – DECEMBER 2017 SEMESTER

As you are aware registration for the semester under reference will be closing on Friday 29th September, 2017. This is to advice students who have not yet registered to liaise with their parents/guardian/sponsors to register by 4.00 p.m. of the same date. Those who will not have registered on or before the said date are advised to apply for academic leave. Please note that it is illegal to stay in the institution when you are not registered. CUK JOINS THE WORLD TO MARK THE 2017 INTERNATIONAL DAY OF CO-OPERATIVES

  The Co-operative University of Kenya joined the Kenyan Co-operative Movement in marking this year’s International Day of Co-operatives at the Kenya’s capital, Nairobi. The event which brought together the vast movement was preceded by a series of events included the Co-operatives Environmental day, sporting activities, Ushirika blood donation among others. CUK’s PROF.  E. AKUNO SHINES, GETS ELECTED WORLD PRESIDENT

  The International Music Council has elected Professor Emily Achieng Akuno its President. She was elected to this position during the 37th General Assembly on the 11th and 12th of June 2017. CO-OP UNIVERSITY HOSTS CAK-DGRV COOPERATION CAPACITY BUILDING WORKSHOP

  The Co-operative University of Kenya hosted a 2-day capacity building workshop dubbed CAK-DGRV cooperation capacity building workshop for the entire co-operative movement in Kenya through their representatives in May, 2017. The purpose and objective of the workshop was to understand the concepts gamification and e-learning and how to apply both in testing of knowledge in an exciting way, based on multiple choice questions. VARSITY PARTICIPATES IN THE KAREN HOSPITAL’S HEART RUN

  The Co-operative University of Kenya on Saturday 13th May, 2017 joined thousands of Kenya in participating in the 2017 edition of the Heart Run of the Karen Hospital, Nairobi at Uhuru gardens. The team of staff and students was led by the University’s communication’s office.  The University participates in this annual event as part of its corporate social responsibility.

STUDENTS’ LEADERS SET TO BE SWORN IN

  The Co-operative University of Kenya’s students’ leaders-elect are set to be sworn in on 25th April, 2017 at 4.00pm at the Main Campus in Karen.
