Message from the Dean

The Faculty of Cooperatives and Community Development (FCCD) offers high level human resource training for Kenya and other countries within the Eastern African region in the fields of cooperative management, community development and disaster management and sustainable development. The aim is to conduct and facilitate research on co-operative education, leadership training and other forms of experiential learning for management and to equip our graduate with practical skills for community service.

In recognition of the challenges and opportunities associated with the cooperative sector as well as community development, FCCD does offer postgraduate and undergraduate degree, diploma and certificate courses with a goal of training quality cooperate staff with competence to meet the needs of the society. The faculty is on course to develop new programs and course and to support establishment of other strategic schools and departments. Our student’s satisfaction is enormous and staff competence excellence. We therefore invite all those interested in our programs to contact and enrol in order to become part of this great institution.
