Elizabeth Kimkung, New Cuk Council Member Pays a Courtesy Call to the VC

The Co-operative University of Kenya’s newly appointed Council member Ms. Elizabeth Kimkung has paid a courtesy call to University’s office of the Vice Chancellor following her appointment by Education Cabinet Secretary. In a brief meeting held on Thursday 15th February, 2018 in his office, the CUK’s Ag. Vice Chancellor Prof. Kamau Ngamau congratulated Ms. Elizabeth on appointment as a Council member of the University and expressed his optimism that Ms. Kimkung’s expertise will be of great value to the University’s advancement.

Ms. Elizabeth reiterated her commitment as a council member of the university to making her contribution go a long way to achieving the mission, vision of the university and also realize the agenda of the university council. She noted that The Co-operative University of Kenya’s niche market has a great potential for growth of the institution.

Ms. Elizabeth was appointed a Council of the CUK via a Gazette Notice No. 925 of 26th January, 2018 by the former Cabinet Secretary for Education Dr. Fred Matiang’i following the revocation of the appointment of the late Ms. Mary Mati who passed on late last year, 2017 while serving as a council member of the CUK. Ms. Elizabeth is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
