Faculty objectives

The overall objective of the faculty is to develop expertise in cooperatives, management, financial, microfinance institutions and different related people cantered organizations with capability to:

  1. To develop and offer demand driven programmes for co-operatives, community development and the associated stakeholders.
  2. To research, develop and extend new knowledge and skills for improved management and efficiency of the cooperative sector.
  3. To develop strategic partnerships with the co-operative movement and associated economic actors for purposes of research interests, knowledge exchange, and knowledge development.
  4. To link up with county/ devolved government structures for purposes of extending co-operative education, training and information to the general public.
