The overall objective of the faculty is to develop expertise in cooperatives, management, financial, microfinance institutions and different related people cantered organizations with capability to:
- To develop and offer demand driven programmes for co-operatives, community development and the associated stakeholders.
- To research, develop and extend new knowledge and skills for improved management and efficiency of the cooperative sector.
- To develop strategic partnerships with the co-operative movement and associated economic actors for purposes of research interests, knowledge exchange, and knowledge development.
- To link up with county/ devolved government structures for purposes of extending co-operative education, training and information to the general public.
