Dr. Lydia Mutua

Ag. Deputy Registrar (Co-operative Development, Research and Innovation)

Lydia is Acting Deputy Registrar in the Division of Co-operative Development, Research and Innovation. Prior, she served as a Senior Assistant Registrar and Assistant Registrar Examinations, a position held since 2013. Prior to Co-operative University, Lydia worked at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology in the administration division, where she served in various positions rising up to the level of Senior Administrative Assistant. Lydia has a PhD, Disaster Management and Sustainable Development from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, MA, project planning and management, UON, Post graduate Diploma in project planning, from Catholic University of Eastern Africa and a Bachelor of Arts Degree(Economics and Sociology) from UON. She has published several papers in the area of drought management. Lydia is a life member of Kenya Red Cross Society(KRCS), Member of Kenya Institute of Management(KIM) and a lead expert in Environmental Impact Assessment, NEMA.
