PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER (Head of Department)

Mr. Victor James Njogu holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from JKUAT and a Master’s in Project Management from JKUAT. Since 2011, Mr. Njogu has built a diverse career in Information Technology, Digital Media, and Public Relations. His professional journey began as an ICT Officer at JKUAT, where they managed and supported IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations across networks, hardware, and software systems. 

He later joined The Co-operative University of Kenya as an ICT Content Officer, specialising in curating and managing digital content and collaborating with marketing teams to align the organization’s digital strategy. He later transitioned to Public Relations Officer, where he leveraged his IT expertise to enhance communication strategies, manage media relations, and develop PR campaigns that strengthened the organization’s image.

As a Senior Digital Media Officer and Head of the Corporate Communication and Marketing Department, he oversees the organization’s digital media landscape, leading teams to create innovative content and optimize digital engagement strategies. His leadership has significantly improved brand visibility and online engagement.

Notable career achievements include successfully leading CUK’s digital transformation and spearheading PR and Marketing campaigns that enhanced organizational reputation and brand visibility. His unique combination of IT, Project Management, and Digital Media skills makes Mr. Njogu a valuable asset in both technical and communication roles. Mr Njogu is a Member of the Public Relations Society of Kenya (MPRSK) and a Member of the Institute of Customer Experience Kenya (ICX)

Ms. Winnifred Elinah Mnengo holds a Diploma in Front office Operations/Receptionist with over 20 years of experience in the field, a Certificate in Telephone Supervision, a Telephone Operation Administration course, and a Certificate in communication skills.

She is a Telephone Operator by Profession. She is an Experienced and dedicated telephone operator with expertise in handling large volumes of incoming and outgoing calls at the telephone exchange. She is proficient in managing complex communication systems, providing excellent customer service, and offering administrative support. She responds to inquiries, relays messages, and ensures seamless communication across departments.

Ms Nkatha is a marketing professional with over 15 years of experience in the field. Holds a bachelor of Commerce – Marketing Option and a Diploma in Business Management from The University of Nairobi.

She is Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and committed to Professional excellence. A multifaceted person with proven ability in decision-making and a sharp analytical mindset. With the ability to work under pressure in a time-sensitive environment and drive the marketing team in the right direction in times of crisis.

PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER – A

Meshack M. Ngangi is a Communications and Public Relations professional with over three (3) Bachelor of Science in Communication and Media Studies (Hons) from Rongo University, specialising in Public Relations.

He is a highly resourceful, reliable, and self-driven public relations, corporate communications, media relations, customer service and administration executive with a strategic approach towards efficiency and excellence in operations and service delivery in organizations.

His excellence in collaborating with teams to develop approaches and systems that have resulted in streamlined processes, success in communication design, value creation, strategic organizational innovations, and sustainably profitable business relations has been evident through the performance score as a Volunteer Communications Assistant (2021-2023) with the Young African Leaders Forum, Public Relations Intern (2022-2023) and Public Relations Officer – A (2024 – Present) at The Co-operative University of Kenya. 

Mr. Ngangi is a highly networked youth affiliated with several international youth leadership organisations, including the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI). He has depicted Pan-African leadership by influencing and delegating youth concerns as the Secretary-General and Students Outreach Coordinator of the Young African Leaders Forum (YALF). He is a Certified Mentor, completing the North American Division Certification Program under the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

She is a proactive and adaptable professional who excels at problem-solving and delivering high-quality results. Her persuasive communication skills are crucial in customer service.
