| Mr. Victor James Njogu holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from JKUAT and a Master’s in Project Management from JKUAT. Since 2011, Mr. Njogu has built a diverse career in Information Technology, Digital Media, and Public Relations. His professional journey began as an ICT Officer at JKUAT, where they managed and supported IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations across networks, hardware, and software systems.
He later joined The Co-operative University of Kenya as an ICT Content Officer, specialising in curating and managing digital content and collaborating with marketing teams to align the organization’s digital strategy. He later transitioned to Public Relations Officer, where he leveraged his IT expertise to enhance communication strategies, manage media relations, and develop PR campaigns that strengthened the organization’s image. As a Senior Digital Media Officer and Head of the Corporate Communication and Marketing Department, he oversees the organization’s digital media landscape, leading teams to create innovative content and optimize digital engagement strategies. His leadership has significantly improved brand visibility and online engagement. Notable career achievements include successfully leading CUK’s digital transformation and spearheading PR and Marketing campaigns that enhanced organizational reputation and brand visibility. In the course of his studies, he has engaged in various professional fields, such as the MSK (Marketing Society of Kenya) as a student ambassador for CUK, KESA (Economic Students Association of Kenya)as a CUK representative, Democracy at Work Institute (DAWI), and CGIAR, among many others. Powell is the founder and former Chairperson of the Marketing Students Association of The Co-operative University of Kenya and part of the Founding team of AIESEC in CUK, an international forum for students to participate in international cultural exchange programs.
