Role at the University

Maxwell Nyaga is the Finance Officer of The Co-operative University of Kenya, where he oversees the University’s financial management. He is a specialist in both finance and procurement, a combination he has built through qualifications and practice in each field, and brings over eighteen years of experience at the core of university business operations.

Career

Before joining the Co-operative University College of Kenya, Mr. Nyaga served in various positions at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). He rose from Accounts Assistant to Accountant, then Internal Auditor, Head of Procurement and finally Deputy Chief Procurement Officer. He is currently a PhD student in Business Administration (Finance) at JKUAT.
